Karu Naratne

Karu Naratne comes to us all the way from Sri Lanka, and knows Finance inside and out.  He joined our staff in early 2007, and is extremely diligent and sharp.  Sri Lanka is a very tiny Island in Indian Ocean (25000 Square Miles).  Karu and his wife Eloma came to the U.S. 5 years ago, but their children came here almost 10 years ago for their college education, and they have finished their MSc in Computer Science and are working in US companies.

Karu is a graduate of Sri Lanka University in Economics and Math, and also holds a Diploma in Banking.  He started his career as an Math teacher and worked as a lecturer at Teacher Training College in Sri Lanka.  He later worked at Bank of Ceylon, the largest bank in Sri Lanka, as a branch Manager and ended up after 26 years as an Provincial Operation Manager.  His wife, Eloma, was a High School Science Teacher in Sri Lanka.  After retirement, they  both came to the USA to live close to their children.  Eloma is working as a Day Care teacher at Christ Church Children's Center, and Karu is now working here, thanks to the members of our church.  Karu states, "We are grateful to people of this nation and enjoying the generosity of this free country and do our best. Thank You."
