Young Adults
A Ministry for those in their 20s and 30s, married or single.... … a community of men and women in our 20s and 30s interested in growing in our faith through study, action, and fellowship. … a new and growing community at CELC welcome to new ideas and activities that will build our community and strengthen our relationships with Jesus.
Youth
Our mission is to build a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious students are becoming deeply committed Christians. We accomplish this mission by equipping parents, adults and staff, as well as offering contemporary programs to lead students into a deeply committed faith.
Children
Children's Ministries mentors children from birth to know, love and follow Jesus Christ, and to help their families become deeply committed Christians. Pathfinders Sunday Morning Adventure for Children is CELC's Sunday school ministry for young children. Pathfinders kids also participate in a variety of outreach, connecting, growing, ministry and worship activities, and they are fully integrated into the life of the church. Godly Play is CELC's Sunday school ministry for elementary school children (ages 7-11) that are able to read. The class begins at 10:15 a.m. with a joint music session with Pathfinders. The older children depart from the Pathfinders classroom for reading of Bible passages in the Godly Play classroom.
Parents
Parents are the most powerful influences on their children's faith growth. Recognizing this, CELC is building a comprehensive ministry to develop parents as disciples of Jesus Christ and equip them to be their children's primary faith teachers and mentors. A variety of small group Bible studies provide wonderful opportunities for God to speak to parents in prayer and Scripture, nourish and nurture them in their individual faith walks, and equip them to raise children who know, love and serve the Lord.
Missions
Our Missions Ministry develops deeply committed Christians by sending members of our congregation into our community, denomination and world to make disciples and serve others in ways that honor God, share Christ, transform lives and promote justice.
Music & Worship
Music & Worship Ministries offer a wide range of opportunities for service, from greeting worshipers to sharing your musical gifts to assisting with audio/visual equipment. Whether you prefer a traditional, contemporary, blended, or other worship style, we have a place for you to serve and glorify God.
Small Groups
They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers ... And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. (Acts 2:42, 44)
12-Step Group Ministry
In recognizing and honoring the healing that God wants to do in our lives, we are very serious about providing space for many community 12-Step programs to meet.
